2012 Tori to open Saturday, June 2

HANCOCK -- The Tori will be opening on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at its location next to the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock. The hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer.

At their meeting on April 24, 2012, Tori vendors met with Jim Kurtti, Finnish American Heritage Center director, and Hancock City Manager Glenn Anderson to discuss potential improvements for the market facilities this year.

Tori vendors are still required to supply their own tables and to pay the daily vendor rate of $5. Items for sale include fresh produce, local honey, homemade jams and baked goods, and hand-crafted items.
